New to St. Louis! Offering FREE
Cooking and Gardening Classes for Kids!
Nothing forms stronger bonds or unites cultures quicker than creating & sharing meals together!
UNITE KIDS & COMMUNITIES: With the help of our dedicated volunteers, partners, and sponsors we give children the opportunity to come together as a team to grow healthy foods in our Community Gardens and cook nutritious meals in our Food and Cultural Education classes throughout the year.
HEALTHY FOODS AND GARDENING: STL Food Factory partners with various schools, grocers, businesses, city parks, and etc to grow sustainable food in our Community Gardens. Through our Community Gardens, we give children, families, and residents an opportunity to work together to grow healthy foods, which are harvested and cooked by the children in our weekly Food and Cultural Education classes!
CULTURAL EDUCATION: With the assistance of and partnership with school districts throughout the city, we are able to elaborate on social education curriculum through the introduction of food and cultural awareness during our cooking classes. Guest Chef Instructors from local restaurants introduce students to a variety of cultures, cuisines, and lifestyles they experienced growing up abroad, through their ancestry, as well as through indigenous foods.

EDUCATE + GROW + COOK = a Healthier Lifestyle!
It's important for kids to experience new cultures, connect with nature, & understand the importance of eating fresh & healthy meals. The youth of our community must experience the joys of cooking with family & friends.
With a little bit of kitchen know-how and smart grocery shopping, it is possible to feed a family of four for $10. Through this website and our food and cultural education classes we will teach children and young adults about community gardening, healthy eating, and world cultures in an effort to unite families and cultures!
